CeeVee is a resume/CV creation and maintenance tool. It may be connected to Facebook or LinkedIn accounts.
CeeVee was founded in 2008 in Romania as a tool for simple CV and resume creation and maintenance. The founder’s LinkedIn profile indicates that he sold the company in January 2010, and research indicates that BestJobs.ro is the new owner. No information has been added to the site regarding this change.
Users have the option to import information from Facebook or LinkedIn. Alternatively, users can create an original CV using the “fill-in-the-box” layout.
Once registered, users may add contact information and edit the content imported from any linked applications. Users may add or reorder the general sections, choose one of three themes, publish the resume publicly or privately, print or save the CV as a PDF, or share on Facebook or Twitter.
If public, others may share your CV via Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, Blogger, MySpace, Digg, AIM, Stumbleupon, or MSN Messenger.
The Network tab simply takes users to Facebook, which doesn’t seem to be valuable. The Statistics tab reveals how many times a user’s CV has been viewed and how many times it has been emailed. The Jobs – soon tab is inactive.
Users can connect with Facebook, LinkedIn, or create a login specifically for CeeVee. Registration (non-Facebook/LinkedIn) requires an email address, password, and CeeVee web address. Facebook connection requires users to allow access to their Facebook account. LinkedIn also requires permission to connect. Once connected with either application, users must provide an email address and unique CeeVee web address.
CeeVee is free to use.
It isn’t clear whether there are benefits to posting on CeeVee. LinkedIn can host a resume and assists users with connections. CeeVee does not seem to be expanding or improving.
